warm bay

Bride’s veil
Lilies on the surface
of the pond

Seagulls glide
Indifferent
wind

Bare black trees
Against a dimming
dusk sky

My poodle delights
Pouncing on his first
sheet of ice

Drivers rage
A warm
winter sun
